Has anyone else noticed that miniature motorized things are often more fun than their fullsized counterparts? Like go-karts, minibikes, etc.

My parents have a Yamaha TTR-110 and I rode it for about 2 hours last night. Why is it so much fun?!? I don’t know why I don’t ride it every time I’m home.

I always thought that if I got a bike in the city it would be the teenager size motocross bike with street tires. But I want to live so I don’t.

I’ve never ridden a bike. I desperately want to, but know no one to let me borrow one. I’d be satisfied to just go through the woods on a 50cc bike. Just want to ride a bike.

Although that being said, that would probably start an addiction to wanting a bike myself. Saw someone on a Honda Grom the other day. Granted the bike looked a little disproportionate, but it was a nice looking little bike. I would probably get one if my work commute wasn’t about 90% highway. (Grom can only do 60 something)

Didn’t think there was enough room on a Grom for a passenger. Learn something new every day.

How did the bike ride?

it is actually built for 2-up! there is a set of passenger foot pegs and everything!

I tewach with them. Great little bikes, even if ours are a little abused.

I’m 6’ 3”... Was considering getting a Grom... I’ve been looking elsewhere because I thought I’d be too tall for it, but do you think I’d be too tall for the Grom?

Nah, it’d just be for getting to and from work and small local trips, like to the store, or a friends house, etc...

you should be fine. might need some higher handle bars to clear your knees, and it does kind of have a ‘monkey fucking a football* look. but its part of its charm. I LOVE ours.
